TOPP and the Tag-A-Giant Foundation are co-hosting the 200+ person meeting at the Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, California.

Many seals were pushed to the tops of sand dunes, up against the fence next to the highway, off the beach into cow pastures, and even across the highway!
Searching for Myoceen
Posted January 10th, 2008 by NicoleMarieTeutschelNicole Teutschel at Piedras Blancas, CA -- Today we ventured down the California Coast, from Santa Cruz to Piedras Blancas searching for Myoceen, a northern elephant seal tagged by TOPP. Myoceen is an adult female northern elephant seal featured on TOPP’s Elephant Seal Homecoming Days page. Typically, northern elephant seals return to the same colony year after year to breed and molt.
