TOPP on the Today Show

Last Friday morning, Hopkins Marine Station's Tuna Research and Conservation Center was turned into a TV studio.

By noon, with lights blazing and cameras rolling, Dr. Barbara Block was being interviewed by Anne Thompson, chief environmental affairs correspondent for NBC News, for a story focusing on white sharks, and the TOPP program's ongoing collaboration with the Monterey Bay Aquarium on white shark research.

The interview aired this morning (Nov. 23) on the Today Show, with an expected audience of around 9 million viewers.  You can see the interview here.
